JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Injury Paralegal:

Screen potential personal injury cases. Review medical history and records. Document diagnosis, testing and treatments. Request medical records, billings, liens, and bill and lien reductions from health care providers. Communicate and handle issues with Medicaid, Medicare, and health insurance companies. Review and update medical treatments with clients and logging calls and discussions for the case files. Prepare medical chronologies and expense reports. Meet and confer with clients and professionals to discuss details of the case, provide information and/or clarify issues. Set up insurance claims for bodily injury, personal injury, and/or property damage. Calendar tasks, deadlines, and follow up reminders. Adhere to confidentiality, State, Federal and HIPAA laws and regulations in regards to patients’ records and information. Communicate with clients throughout the process cases in the English and/or Arabic languages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires Associates Degree in Health Sciences, Chemistry or related. Must have knowledge of medical terminology. Must be fluent in the Arabic language.
